Aylesbury Young Farmers' Club

What is YFC?

YFC - Young Farmers Club - is an organisation that dates back to the 1920's. It was started to give young people in the countryside a way of socialising with other young people in their areas.

Today, YFC offers young people much more than a social life. By becoming a young farmer, you have the opportunity to meet new people, learn skills, help the community, travel abroad, and compete in a range of competitions from local to national level.

YFC is run by young people, for young people. This means that clubs only do things that they think are important to them—and most importantly — FUN!

There are approximately 30 members, male and female, aged 16-25 yrs in ASYFC. The club meets once a week on a Wednesday, where we participate in a wide range of activities. Our programme shows our plans for future meetings.

Life in YFC is always fun – it doesn’t matter if you just interested in the social side of club life or want to get involved in community and environmental issues – it’s all about meeting new friends and enjoying yourself.
